Hello! My name is Mingo, and this is actually my second time at BHS. You see, I thought I had found my forever home a few years ago; but unfortunately I was returned because, for whatever reason, I was not getting along with my previous guardian's children. For this reason, any children in my true forever home must be at least 8 years or older; sometimes, younger children don't understand that pinching or pulling on me is not okay. In my previous home, I did get out of my yard and go after another dog for no reason that my people could see; the dog was not injured, but my behaviorist said that it may have occurred because I have a fear of other dogs...so, it would be great if I can be the only dog in my forever home! What can I say- I want you all to myself, so I can lavish all my love on you! I am a really nice guy who enjoys being around people who will walk me and play with me; and I also like squeaky toys and stuffed animals. I also like to bark and howl at times (could be the "Beagle" in me); so it would probably not be a good idea for me to live in an apartment, because it would not be fair to your neighbors. I'm REALLY hoping that the third time will be the charm, and I can soon be a great family dog in my true forever home! Let's not waste any more time; please stop by for a visit as soon as you can!
